The Journal of Research in Dental and Maxillofacial Sciences (JRDMS) is an international open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published quarterly. It is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in all scientific fields related to dentistry, the oral cavity, and associated structures in health and disease. The journal welcomes original research articles, invited reviews of the literature, systematic reviews with/without meta-analysis, case reports/series, and technical reports in dental medicine and related sciences. Only descriptive and analytical studies conducted according to international standards will be considered for publication. All studies must employ an appropriate methodology, and must have been approved by the relevant ethics committee (specifically if human or animal subjects are involved). Review articles will be considered for peer review only if they cover present-day topics of significant importance and demonstrate high quality. The journal's audience include oral, dental, and craniofacial researchers, clinical scientists, dentists, oral health policy-makers, and dental educators.

The JRDMS provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public promotes a greater global exchange of knowledge.
All papers accepted by JRDMS are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 4.0 International License, which permits any non-commercial use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and reproduction in any medium or format, as long as you give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the source. Authors retain copyright but grant the publisher exclusive rights to their article*.
